Eucalyptus in a bouquet is that very touch that makes a composition feel alive and light. Its silvery-green sprigs with rounded leaves add volume, air, and a noble restraint. At Pro-Buket, you can order a bouquet with eucalyptus with delivery in Prague: florists assemble the composition in the city and bring it at the appointed hour.
Your order is taken by a florist in the city where the bouquet needs to be delivered. The bouquet is assembled in Prague and delivered within Prague — no forwarding from other places. Florists photograph the finished composition before sending it — you receive a picture of the exact bouquet that will travel to the address, not a stock photo.
Delivery in Prague works like this: a courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time. Need a bouquet in the middle of the night? We'll deliver it in the dark hours too. Dreaming of arranging a surprise so the recipient doesn't guess who the bouquet is from? An anonymous order is a great option for a surprise: the recipient won't know who sent the flowers until you decide to reveal yourself. Every order comes with a card — free of charge, just write your message and we'll add it to the composition.
For Prague, we assemble eucalyptus bouquets for every taste — both small and large.
Sometimes the courier rings the doorbell, but no one comes to open. We don't leave the bouquet under the door and don't walk away without sorting out the situation. After waiting a quarter of an hour at the door, the courier calls the sender: together we decide what to do with the bouquet. If the sender agrees, the eucalyptus bouquet will be handed to the administrator or left at a nearby shop. So please, let the recipient know or make sure someone can receive the order.
Eucalyptus sprigs in a composition are not just space fillers. Eucalyptus gives the bouquet shape, sets off the flowers, and looks like a standalone accent itself. To keep the composition pleasing longer, it's worth taking care of it from day one.
Trim the stems. Once you receive the bouquet, unwrap it and refresh the cut at a sharp angle, removing a couple of centimeters. This applies to both the flowers and the eucalyptus sprigs: a fresh cut helps them drink water. Cut the stems with a sharp knife or pruners: scissors crush them, and that prevents water from reaching the flowers.
Pour in clean water. Cool water in the vase should be about two-thirds of its height. Don't fill it to the brim: leaves shouldn't end up in the water. Eucalyptus has leaves all along the stem, so it's best to remove the lower ones — that way the water stays fresh longer.
Change the water regularly. Every day or every two days, pour out the old water and add fresh. Rinse the vase too: a film forms on its walls where bacteria accumulate. You can add a cut-flower preservative to the water — with it, the bouquet will last longer. However, even just changing the water regularly makes a noticeable difference for the flowers.
Avoid heat and drafts. Direct sun, radiators, heaters, and air conditioners dry out both the flowers and the eucalyptus. It's best to place the vase away from radiators, heaters, and places with drafts. Keep the vase away from fruit: they release a gas that makes flowers wilt faster.
Trim the stems again. Every two days, refresh the cut, removing at least a centimeter. This opens fresh channels for water, and the bouquet lasts noticeably longer.
Watch the condition of the sprigs. Eucalyptus dries gradually: first the leaves become a little softer, then they start to change color. If a sprig has clearly lost its look, you can carefully remove it — the rest of the composition will only benefit. By the way, dried eucalyptus often retains its scent and shape, so it's often kept in a vase as standalone decor or used in dry compositions.
Mist the leaves. Eucalyptus loves humid air. Eucalyptus leaves love moisture: once a day you can go over them with a spray bottle of cool water, especially when the room is heated. Try not to mist the flowers themselves if they are sensitive to moisture.
Don't put the vase on a windowsill with drafts. At night it can be cold outside the window, and hot during the day — such temperature swings harm both the flowers and the eucalyptus. It's better to choose a stable spot deeper in the room.
Eucalyptus is versatile. It's equally appropriate in delicate pastel bouquets and in contrasting compositions with bright flowers. Its cool silvery shade refreshes the palette and gives the bouquet volume, while its subtle fresh scent adds a feeling of cleanliness. In Prague, eucalyptus bouquets are given both for special occasions and simply to delight someone dear.
We assemble Prague orders locally, send you a photo of the finished bouquet, and then deliver the composition at the chosen time. Anonymous delivery keeps the intrigue until the end, and a card with the bouquet comes as a gift. If no one opens the door, we'll call you and discuss what to do with the eucalyptus composition. Nothing extra — everything is thought through and done in a human way.
Choose eucalyptus in a bouquet — and may the flowers last long, and the day they were brought be remembered.
