Gypsophila Delivery in Prague: Delicate Bouquets with a Photo Before Dispatch

Why Gypsophila Is a Safe Bet

Gypsophila is a cloud of tiny blooms that makes any bouquet airy and light. At Pro-Buket, we often add it to arrangements, but it also looks stunning as a standalone bouquet. If you want to give something delicate but aren't sure which color the recipient will prefer, gypsophila is almost universal: everyone loves it, and it doesn't cause allergies.

Then the courier delivers the bouquet exactly at the scheduled time. Want to stay anonymous? Choose anonymous delivery, and we won't reveal the sender's name. Every bouquet comes with a free card — write a few kind words, and we'll include it with the arrangement.

How We Deliver Gypsophila in Prague

We deliver orders exclusively within Prague.

The courier delivers the bouquet to the recipient at the agreed time. If you or the recipient aren't there, we wait 15 minutes, then call the sender. If you allow, the bouquet can be left at the reception desk or a nearby shop. No refunds are provided for the order. If the recipient doesn't know about the surprise, it's best to give them a heads-up.

We don't fix delivery zones or exact times: it all depends on the address and time, but we always try to arrive on time.

Caring for Gypsophila at Home: Simple Rules

Gypsophila is considered long-lasting, but it still needs proper care to keep the bouquet looking good for a long time. As soon as you receive the bouquet, we recommend a few steps.

**1. 1. Refresh the cut. Use a sharp knife or pruners and cut the stems at a 45-degree angle. Cut them under cool water — this prevents air from entering the stem and helps the flowers absorb water better. Remove any leaves that end up in the water — they rot quickly and spoil the water in the vase.

2. Choose the right vase. Gypsophila likes space. The wider the neck, the better — stems shouldn't be crowded. Fill the vase with settled water at room temperature to about two-thirds full. If you have flower food for cut flowers, add it. If not — half a teaspoon of sugar and a couple of drops of lemon juice. This mix supports the flowers and inhibits bacteria growth.

3. Change the water every two days. Gypsophila is sensitive to contamination. Each time you change the water, wash the vase with soap and trim the stems by another couple of centimeters. This will extend the bouquet's life to two weeks or more.

**4. Avoid heat and drafts. Sunlight, radiators, and air conditioners dry out the delicate blooms. Place the vase in partial shade, away from fruit: their ethylene speeds up wilting.

5. Mist in the mornings. Gypsophila loves humid air. Once a day, lightly spray it with a mister — but avoid already dried blooms to prevent mold.

6. Remove wilted sprigs. If you notice a branch has lost its firmness or started to yellow, remove it immediately. This helps the remaining sprigs stay fresh longer.

7. Don't place it next to other flowers. Gypsophila is a peaceful neighbor, but some flowers (like daffodils) release substances harmful to it. It's best to keep it separate or with roses, eustoma, or chrysanthemums.

What to Do If the Bouquet Does Wilt

Even with good care, gypsophila can lose its look, especially if the room is very dry. Don't rush to throw it away: dried gypsophila is often used in interiors — it keeps its shape and color for months. Just hang the bouquet upside down in a dark, ventilated place for a couple of weeks. You'll end up with a stylish dried flower that reminds you of a pleasant event.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
