Zamioculcas Raven d14 h45

probuket

Zamioculcas Raven is a striking houseplant with dense, glossy leaves in a rich green color. The leaves are gathered on strong vertical petioles, giving the bush a neat, upward-reaching shape. Underground tubers store moisture, so the plant looks fresh even with infrequent watering. In a pot 14 cm in diameter and 45 cm tall, the bush looks compact and fits well on a windowsill, shelf, or desk. The plant is suitable for home or office and makes a fitting gift for a housewarming or birthday.

Choose a bright spot for the zamioculcas, but without direct sunlight: an east- or west-facing window works well, as does an area deeper in the room with sufficient light. In shade, growth slows, so it's worth finding a corner with soft, diffused light. Water rarely, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings: about once every two weeks in summer, even less in winter. Standing water in the saucer is harmful to the tubers, so pour off any excess. Wipe the leaves periodically with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep their shine.
