Anthurium is a flower with its own character. A dense waxy spathe, glossy leaf, straight stem: anthurium holds its shape both in a mono-bouquet and alongside other flowers. For Warsaw, the section offers 31 anthurium options, including bouquets "Luck", "Watercolor", "Idyll", and "Element of Feelings". The florist assembles the bouquet for the recipient in Warsaw and delivers it at the appointed time.
Delivery in Warsaw is handled by the florist — the same person who arranges the bouquet.
A repeat trip must be paid for again, and the cost of the bouquet itself is not refunded.
Anthurium is not your ordinary bouquet. Its flower is a spathe that can be white, red, pink, burgundy, or green, with a spadix in the center. Even a single stem looks like a composition in its own right, and several — like a strong, graphic bouquet.
Anthurium has dense leaves and a sturdy stem, so it travels well around Warsaw and doesn't lose its look after a couple of hours. Such a bouquet is appropriate as a congratulation, as a spontaneous sign of attention, and as decoration for an office or creative studio.
Anthuriums in Warsaw are chosen when you want a bouquet more expressive than classic roses or chrysanthemums. In the anthurium section for Warsaw, you'll find both minimalist mono-bouquets and options where anthurium is combined with other flowers.
With a few simple rules, anthurium will delight the eye in a vase for a long time. Here are some recommendations that will extend the life of your bouquet.
Trim the stems. Before placing the anthurium in a vase, cut the end of the stem with a sharp knife at an angle, about 45 degrees. Thanks to the angled cut, the stem remains open and absorbs water much more actively. Scissors or pruners can crush the stem, so use a knife.
Choose the right vase. Anthurium needs a stable vase with a wide bottom — heavy flowers on long stems can tip over a narrow neck. The optimal level is when the stems go into the water by 5–7 centimeters, no deeper. If you pour too much water, the stem may rot.
Refresh the water. Every 48 hours, pour out the settled liquid, rinse the vase, and add fresh water. At the same time, trim the stems by a couple of millimeters — this way the anthurium will stay fresh longer. If slime or odor appears in the water, change it immediately.
Keep away from drafts and sun. Direct sunlight, radiators, and air conditioning are contraindicated for anthurium. Place the vase in a bright place, but without direct sun and away from the flow of hot air. Anthurium is sensitive to ethylene, which fruits release. Anthurium does not tolerate ethylene well, which fruits emit, so do not keep the vase near apples or bananas.
Watch the spathe. If dark spots appear on the spathe or it becomes soft, this is a sign that the flower is tired. It is better to remove such a flower from the bouquet so that it does not spoil the others. Sometimes it is enough to simply adjust the stem and change the water — the anthurium may recover.
Mist the leaves. Anthurium loves humid air. The leaves can be lightly misted once a day with room-temperature water, avoiding getting it on the flowers themselves. If the humidity in the room is low, simply place a dish of water nearby.
If you follow these tips, anthuriums in Warsaw will delight the recipient noticeably longer. We are happy when a bouquet stands in a vase for a week or more: it means everything was done right.
