Choosing a Dahlia Bouquet: Occasion and Recipient

Dahlias are versatile flowers. Such bouquets work equally well for a romantic evening or a friendly gathering. For a loved one's birthday, the "Legend Composition" and "Delicate Veil Bouquet" look especially celebratory. For a business setting or gifting a colleague, the "Rhythms of Harmony Bouquet" and "Dahlias and Roses Bouquet" are great choices — both look restrained and tasteful. When there's no special occasion but you want to bring joy, go for the "Airy Happiness Bouquet" at 32 EUR or the "Magical Garden Bouquet" at 34 EUR.

Don't forget to consider the recipient's tastes. Some people love bright, saturated colors, while others prefer soft pastel tones. The assortment in this section for Spain includes options for a wide range of preferences — from minimalist to lush. If you're unsure, you can always rely on our florists — they'll help create a bouquet that's sure to please.

How to Keep Dahlias in a Vase

You'll enjoy dahlias in a vase longer if you follow a few simple care rules. To keep dahlias looking their best for as long as possible, a few easy tips will help.

Take a sharp pair of shears and make a diagonal cut on the stems — this helps water reach the flowers better. This way, the stem will absorb more moisture.

Fill a clean vase with cool water and place the stems in it. Water that's too warm isn't good for dahlias. If you don't have flower food, a spoonful of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice will work.

After two days, be sure to change the water and trim the stems by one to two centimeters. This prevents vessel blockage and bacterial growth.

The fourth step is to remove any leaves that end up in the water.

Dahlias prefer cool temperatures and partial shade.

Rule six: don't keep the vase near fruit. The ethylene released by fruit speeds up flower wilting.

By following these tips, you'll be able to enjoy the beauty of dahlias much longer.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
