Orchids with Delivery in Stockholm: Fresh Bouquets from Pro-Buket

Why Orchids Are So Popular

Orchids are not just flowers—they embody sophistication and beauty that doesn't fade quickly. Their elegant petals and variety of shades captivate at first glance. Many choose orchids as a gift because they can enhance an interior for weeks, sometimes even months. At Pro-Buket, you can order orchids with delivery in Stockholm.

We make sure orchids arrive on time and look as good as in the photo you selected. Before sending, the customer receives a picture of the bouquet: it shows how the arrangement looks, so you can check that everything is put together correctly. The courier brings the orchids to the recipient's address in Stockholm at the chosen time. Want to keep it a secret? Choose anonymous delivery: the sender remains unnamed. A card comes free with any orchid bouquet from this section—write your kind wishes in it.

How We Deliver Orchids in Stockholm

Orchid delivery in Stockholm is our specialty. Bouquets are not sent to other cities. This way, every step—from assembling the bouquet to handover—stays under our supervision. Pro-Buket florists live in Stockholm, so they know the city and quickly find the right address. You choose the delivery hour in Stockholm, and the courier brings the orchids exactly at that time. If you're unsure whether the courier will find the recipient at home, we'll call them before heading out—with your permission. If there's no permission to call, the courier simply arrives at the scheduled time.

What does the courier do if the recipient isn't there? When no one answers the door, the courier waits 15 minutes, then calls the sender to discuss what to do with the bouquet. With the sender's permission, the courier can hand the orchids to the reception or leave them at a nearby shop. In every situation, we look for a convenient solution, but much depends on the circumstances of the specific address.

Caring for Orchids at Home: Simple Tips

To keep orchids looking beautiful for a long time, they need proper care. A few simple recommendations will help orchids maintain their beauty longer.

First, pay attention to watering. Orchids don't like standing water, so water them only when the substrate is completely dry. Usually, this is once every 7–10 days, but it depends on humidity and temperature in the room. It's best to use the immersion method: place the pot in a container of water for 10–15 minutes, then let the excess water drain. It's important that water doesn't get into the leaf growth point—this can cause rot.

Second, provide sufficient lighting. Orchids prefer bright but indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so it's better to place them on an east or west windowsill. If the window faces south, shade the plant at noon. In winter, when daylight is short, you can use grow lights.

Third, monitor temperature and air humidity. Orchids are comfortable at temperatures of +18…+25 °C. Orchids in Stockholm should be protected from drafts and sudden temperature changes. If the air in the room is dry, place a container of water near the orchids or use a humidifier. It's also helpful to wipe the leaves with a damp cloth from time to time—this removes dust and helps the plant breathe.

Don't forget about fertilizing. In spring and summer, when the plant is actively growing, fertilize orchids with special products once every 2–3 weeks. In winter, reduce or stop fertilizing. It's important not to overfeed—excess fertilizer can harm the roots.

Finally, don't disturb the plant unnecessarily. Orchids don't like frequent repotting. Repotting is needed only when the roots no longer fit in the pot or the substrate starts to decompose. As a rule, repotting is required once every 2–3 years.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
