Lilacs are spring in its purest form. Dense clusters of tiny flowers, a delicate yet distinct fragrance that is recognised from the first breath. We often hear from senders: "I want something simple, but memorable." Lilacs are exactly that. They don't shout luxury, but they create a mood — light, warm, personal. If you're choosing a gift for your mum, a close friend, or a colleague you get along with, lilacs almost always hit the mark.
Our Stockholm catalogue currently has 25 lilac bouquet options. Orders are assembled and delivered within Stockholm; bouquets are not brought in from other places. This matters because freshness and appearance depend on how quickly the bouquet reaches the recipient after being arranged.
Choosing the size is the logical place to start. Lilacs have a particularity: even a small bunch looks voluminous thanks to the many tiny flowers. If the goal is to make an impression, choose a larger bouquet.
We offer three conventional sizes:
Can't decide on the size — write to us, and a florist will suggest an option to suit the occasion and budget.
Lilacs come in different colours. The classic — lilac, with a smooth transition from pale violet to rich purple. White — more formal and neutral, often chosen for official congratulations. Pink — delicate, romantic, suitable for warm personal messages. There's also dark purple, almost magenta — it looks contrasting and expressive.
When choosing a shade, think about the person the bouquet is for. If it's a friend with a vibrant personality, she might like a rich purple. If your mum prefers calm tones, go for white or light lilac. For a romantic gesture, pink lilacs are a good choice.
We don't mix shades in one bouquet unless requested — if you want a combination, for example white and lilac together, specify this in the order comment. The florist will arrange it as you ask.
How a bouquet is perceived largely depends on the number of stems. One stem is more of a compliment than a full bouquet. Three to five is already a standalone gift. Seven to nine is what people give most often. Eleven stems or more is a bold statement.
But there's a nuance: lilacs shouldn't be compared to roses or chrysanthemums by stem count. Five lilac stems can look fuller than fifteen roses, because each stem is a multitude of tiny blooms. So don't chase numbers. Look at the overall appearance of the bouquet, not the stem count.
When ordering lilacs in Stockholm, you can receive a photo of the bouquet before the courier sets off. You'll see how it looks, and if you want to change something — for example, add a couple of stems — tell us before the courier leaves.
Lilacs from this section are delivered only within Stockholm. Florists in Stockholm assemble each order and hand it straight to the courier.
Lilacs are brought at the time you selected when placing the order. The courier brings the lilacs to the recipient's address in Stockholm at the chosen time. This helps when the recipient is staying late at work or the surprise needs to catch them off guard.
If you don't want to reveal yourself, anonymous delivery is available. With anonymous delivery, the courier doesn't say the sender's name. We simply hand over the flowers and the card, if you ordered one. By the way, the card is free. You write the text — the card is free, and we include it with the lilacs.
A photo of the bouquet is sent to you before the courier sets off. So you'll see the photo in advance and know exactly what the recipient will get. This reduces anxiety and helps avoid surprises.
The courier waits at the address for 15 minutes if no one opens the door. If there's no answer, the courier calls the sender to decide what to do with the lilacs. The courier will offer you a choice: leave the lilacs at reception, if the address is an office or hotel, or hand them to the nearest shop. This is only possible with your consent.
When delivery isn't possible, the courier brings them back: a repeat delivery must be paid for again, and the order amount isn't refunded. To minimise such cases, we confirm the address and time when placing the order.
Choose a bouquet from the catalogue, specify the size, colour, and quantity if you have preferences. Add a card to your order if you want to send a message. In the order, provide the recipient's address and the time you need the bouquet. We'll arrange the lilacs, take a photo, and send it to you. After your confirmation, the courier will take the lilacs to the recipient.
If anything is unclear, write or call — we'll help you choose. Florists will help you decide and advise on how best to organise delivery in Stockholm.
