Fluffy Kalanchoe

probuket

The double-flowered kalanchoe conveys a sense of coziness and gentle celebration: dense clusters of tiny petals look like little roses gathered into lush inflorescences. The leaves are thick, with slight serration along the edge, in a rich green shade — they are decorative in themselves and hold the shape of the bush. The plant is compact: pot diameter 14 cm, height about 30 cm, so it easily finds a place on a windowsill or shelf.

It is best placed in a bright spot without direct midday sun — a window with soft diffused light will do. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out: overwatering is more harmful to kalanchoe than a short drought. The water should be at room temperature, poured at the root, without getting on the leaves. In winter, reduce watering and protect the plant from cold drafts.

Double inflorescences are suitable as a gift for a birthday or housewarming, as well as for those who love delicate potted houseplants.
