Decorative eucalyptus is a compact indoor tree with thin, flexible shoots and silvery-green foliage. The leaves are rounded or slightly elongated, with a light waxy coating, arranged in pairs along the stems. The crown looks airy and lacy, and the branches themselves become slightly woody over time, giving the plant the appearance of a miniature tree. The Gunnii variety is distinguished by its particularly neat shape and dense foliage.

You can place the eucalyptus in a bright room — by a south- or west-facing window, but with shading from direct midday sun. It looks good in a living space and in a home office, filling the air with a fresh aroma. The plant is suitable as a housewarming gift or for decorating a relaxation area.

Care is simple: the plant needs bright, indirect light and regular watering as the top layer of soil dries out. Overwatering is harmful, so it's best to drain excess water from the saucer. In winter, reduce watering and keep the temperature moderate. Young shoots can be pinched to keep the crown dense and compact.
