Proteas with Delivery in Madrid

What Makes This Section Different from Others

Proteas have a character all their own, and it shows at first glance. Their dense, almost sculpted petals and unusual shape make a bouquet a standalone work of art that needs no extra accents. In our Madrid catalog, proteas are gathered into a separate section, and that's no accident: such arrangements are chosen when you want to surprise, highlight the recipient's individuality, or create a mood far from the classic tenderness of roses. Compared to neighboring sections where familiar combinations dominate, here the emphasis is on graphic quality and architecture. In any bouquet in the protea section, the protea is the main element, while other plants only underscore its character.

Top Picks in the Section

The standout in the section is "Impulse" — priced from 89 EUR. It's arranged so that the proteas are the center of attention, with other elements merely setting off their strength. If you're after lightness, take a look at "Flight," "Have a Nice Day," and "Capricious Lady" — each from 20 EUR. Arrangements like these are given just because, with no occasion attached, to make a loved one smile. In "Notes of the Soul" at 46 EUR, the proteas look especially delicate. "Sweet Compliment" is priced at 54 EUR — a restrained and concise choice for minimalism lovers.

Who Gets Protea Bouquets and for What Occasions

These arrangements are chosen by connoisseurs of unconventional floristry. The reason for the gift can be anything: an anniversary, a wedding, or a thank-you with no special occasion. Such bouquets are great for a colleague, a business partner, or a friend who's into design. For a striking effect, "Impulse" fits the bill — you can order it from 89 EUR. "Notes of the Soul" or "Sweet Compliment" make a warm and personal gift. "Flight," "Have a Nice Day," and "Capricious Lady" are options from 20 EUR that work well for a spontaneous gift.

Caring for Proteas

Proteas can last a long time, but proper care will help extend their life. As soon as the bouquet is in your hands, trim the stems at an angle and place the flowers in clean water. Change the water and trim the stems by two centimeters every two or three days — that way the proteas will stay fresh longer. Keep the vase in a cool spot, away from radiators: direct sunlight and drafts harm proteas. If dust appears on the petals, gently wipe them with a soft dry cloth. Fruits like apples and bananas release ethylene, which speeds up protea wilting, so it's best not to place the vase near them. Follow these tips, and the proteas will last in the vase for more than a week without losing their shape or color.

Protea Delivery in Madrid

Protea delivery across Madrid is our job. In Madrid, orders with proteas are delivered at the appointed hour. When the recipient doesn't answer the doorbell, the courier waits exactly fifteen minutes, then calls the person who placed the order. If the one who ordered the bouquet agrees, the flowers can wait for the recipient with the concierge or at a nearby shop. If there's nowhere to leave the flowers, the courier brings them back; a repeat delivery must be paid for again, and the amount paid for the first order is not refunded.

The Madrid section includes ten bouquets with proteas, and each of them can be ordered with delivery. Take any of the ten arrangements in this section — and the person you send them to will surely be delighted.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
