Gerberas with delivery in Ukraine: we'll arrange and deliver right on time

Why gerberas are a sure bet

A gerbera is a flower that smiles. Large daisy-like shape, sturdy petals, bright and clean palette: from snow-white to rich orange and deep burgundy. Unlike finicky roses, gerberas don't need a special occasion. They're given for birthdays and dates, brought to the office, and sent without a note — just to remind someone you're thinking of them. We create gerbera bouquets and deliver them to the recipient in Ukraine: florists work in the same city as the addressee, so the bouquet doesn't travel across the country — it's arranged right here and handed over fresh.

But to avoid getting lost in the catalog, let's figure out how to pick a gerbera bouquet that hits the mark.

Size: how many stems do you really need

First thing to decide is scale. Gerbera is a large flower — one head holds all the attention. So a bouquet of five gerberas looks completely different from one with fifteen.

If you're choosing a small token of attention — for a colleague, a friend, as a compliment without an occasion — a compact bouquet is enough. Three to five gerberas, simply arranged, look neat and don't overwhelm. It's easy to hold, doesn't take up half the table, and works even in a work setting.

A medium format — seven to eleven stems — is already a full-fledged gift. It looks good in a vase on a coffee table, stands out in photos, and comes across as a serious gesture. If you're torn between "too little" and "too much," go for the middle: gerberas, thanks to their size, visually give more volume than roses in the same quantity.

Large bouquets — fifteen gerberas and up — are chosen when you want to make an impression: an anniversary, a big date, a public congratulations. Here it's important to remember that gerberas are heavy, and a large bouquet needs sturdy wrapping and a stable vase. We arrange such compositions so they don't fall apart on the way and hold their shape until the moment of delivery.

Color: what the shade says

Gerberas are one of the few crops with a truly wide palette, and here color works as a message.

White gerberas are a universal choice. They're neutral, suit any occasion and any recipient: mom, a manager, a friend. A white bouquet doesn't clash with the interior and doesn't feel pushy.

Yellow and orange are about energy and warmth. They're good to give to people you want to lift up: a colleague at the end of a tough week, a friend who loves bright things. Orange gerberas are especially good on a cloudy day — they literally work as a source of light.

Pink and salmon shades are soft, romantic, and a sure bet for warm personal occasions. Red and burgundy are a more passionate, grown-up option, appropriate for confessions and significant dates.

If you're unsure about the recipient's tastes, go for a single-color bouquet — it always reads as thoughtful. If you want to play on contrast, you can put together a composition of two or three shades from the same range: for example, white with pink or yellow with orange. Variegated mixes of five different colors risk turning into a mess — gerberas are too large for such a combination to look neat.

Quantity and composition: how not to overdo it

The number of stems isn't the only thing that affects perception. How they're arranged also matters.

A mono-bouquet of gerberas is a classic. All flowers of one type, one or two shades, no extra additions. Such a composition is honest and clean: the recipient immediately sees that you put thought into the flower itself, not masked it with greenery.

If you want to add texture, gerberas pair well with greenery and small accent flowers, but it's important not to overload: one or two additions max. A large gerbera doesn't tolerate competition.

For quantity, use simple logic. An odd number of stems in a bouquet looks more natural. For a "just because" gift, 3–7 gerberas are enough. For a birthday congratulations — 9–15. For a big event — 15 or more, but remember: the larger the bouquet, the more important it is that it's easy to receive. If the recipient is at the office or in a small space, a giant composition can become a problem rather than a joy.

And one more thing: gerberas are flowers that don't like standing long without water. That's why we deliver them assembled and hand them over to the recipient as quickly as possible.

How we deliver gerberas in Ukraine

We keep it simple: the bouquet is arranged and delivered by florists in the same city where the recipient is. No shipping from city to city — flowers don't travel in a box across the country; they're arranged here and handed over here. That means the recipient sees a fresh composition, not one tired from the road.

Before sending, we photograph the bouquet and show you the photo. You see exactly what will go to the recipient before the courier leaves the salon.

Delivery is right on time. There's anonymous delivery: if you want to keep the intrigue, the recipient won't know who the bouquet is from.

If the recipient isn't home, the courier waits on site for 15 minutes. Then we call you — the sender — and with your consent leave the bouquet at the reception desk or a nearby shop.

What to choose in the end

Gerberas are a rare case where a bouquet speaks for itself without complex wrapping or extra words. Decide on the size: compact for a token of attention, medium for a full-fledged gift, large for an impression. Choose the color for the mood and occasion. Don't chase quantity — fewer stems but right on target is better.

Our section has 26 gerbera bouquets — from small to large compositions. Choose, and we'll arrange, photograph, and deliver in Ukraine right on time.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
