Violet Night Bouquet

This combination is appropriate for congratulating on a birthday or anniversary — occasions where one wants to emphasize respect and the seriousness of feelings. The bouquet will be appreciated by a person with refined taste who values restrained beauty and unusual shades. Irises are also good as a standalone accent in the interior: they do not overload the space and look expressive in a tall vase.

To keep cut irises fresh longer, trim the stems at an acute angle and change the water in the vase every couple of days, rinsing the vessel as well. Keep the bouquet away from direct sun and drafts.
