Be careful with vase neighbors. If you add daffodils to other flowers, keep in mind that their stems release sap. Some flowers react poorly to this, so if in doubt, keep daffodils as a separate bouquet. This way you definitely won't spoil either them or other plants.

Watch the cut. If the stems start to soften or the cut darkens, refresh it: trim again at an angle and change the water. This simple procedure often brings the bouquet back to a fresh look.
