Proteas with delivery in Lithuania: a florist will arrange and bring the bouquet

The protea is easy to recognise by its large flower head, stiff petals and graphic silhouette. In a bouquet, it holds the composition and the attention, so proteas are often chosen when you want not "sweet little roses" but a strong, grown-up gesture. Ten options with proteas await you in this section — take a look at the ready-made arrangements or choose the one that suits your recipient.

What to know about protea delivery in Lithuania

Delivery within Lithuania is our main task, and here we try to cover all the scenarios that usually ruin plans.

A free card with your message is included with any bouquet — the recipient will read it together with the proteas. It's a simple detail, but it's often what turns a flower delivery into a real moment rather than just a hand-to-hand transfer of stems.

A special case is when the recipient isn't there. This is a fair condition: the florist has already spent time and arranged the bouquet, so we warn about it in advance.

Protea in a bouquet: what to consider when choosing

The section for Lithuania features proteas of various shapes and shades: from mono-bouquets to arrangements with other flowers. If you're choosing a protea as a gift, think about the recipient's character: this flower is loved by people with a sense of style, those who appreciate architectural forms and aren't afraid of large details. The protea looks unusual, so such a bouquet works both as a personal gift and as a token of attention from a company.

Care at home: how to keep a protea in a vase

The protea is a hardy flower, but it opens and lasts longer if you create the right conditions for it straight away. A few simple techniques will help extend the life of a bouquet with proteas.

First — trim the stems. Cut the stem at an angle with a sharp knife: scissors crush the vessels, and water rises less easily. Cutting two or three centimetres off the stem is enough. Leaves that end up in the water are best removed right away — otherwise they quickly spoil and dirty the water.

Second — water. Use clean water at room temperature, not icy. Proteas don't handle sudden changes well, so don't place the vase near an air conditioner, radiator or on a windowsill in direct sunlight.

Third — the vase. Proteas need a stable base: the flower heads are large and heavy, so a light narrow vase can tip over. Choose a vase with a wide bottom or add a few decorative stones to the bottom if the bouquet is top-heavy. Don't place proteas next to fruit: the ethylene they release speeds up wilting.

Fourth — flower food. If a packet of flower food is included, use it following the instructions. Don't add sugar "by eye": in warm water it encourages bacteria to multiply, and the stems get slimy faster.

Fifth — temperature and draughts. Proteas do well in cool conditions, but draughts harm them. At night, you can move the vase to a cooler place — this way the flower rests and keeps its shape longer. If the flower head starts to dry at the edges, that's a natural process: the protea gradually opens and changes appearance, remaining decorative even when dry.

Sixth — don't touch the flower head unnecessarily. Marks are left on the petals, and they lose their look faster. If you need to adjust the bouquet, hold it by the stems.

Why people order from us

A photo of the bouquet before sending, delivery at the exact time, night and anonymous delivery, a free card with the bouquet.

If the recipient isn't home, the courier waits on the spot for 15 minutes, then calls the sender and, with their consent, leaves the bouquet at the reception desk or in a nearby shop. We say this directly so there are no surprises.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
