Bouquet of black roses

Twenty-five roses are arranged in a dense, even composition, where each bud supports the next. The velvety surface of the petals softly catches the light, while the dark green of the stems and leaves emphasizes the depth of the black. The bouquet looks strict and monumental, so it displays well in a tall clear vessel or a matte vase of simple shape.

To keep cut flowers in shape longer, trim the stems at a sharp angle and change the water in the vase every two days, rinsing the vessel as well. Keep the bouquet away from drafts and direct sunlight — this way the petals will stay firm, and the buds will open gradually.
