Double Cyclamen

probuket

Double-flowered cyclamen blossoms resemble fluttering butterflies: the petals are arranged in several layers, with a delicate fringe along the edges. In the yellow variety, the buds are tinted a soft, sunny hue that stands out against the dense green leaves with their silvery pattern. The plant is compact, forms a neat rosette, and looks elegant even when not in bloom.

Place the cyclamen pot in a bright spot without direct sunlight — a windowsill with diffused light or a shelf near a window will do. During bud formation, the plant needs cool conditions, so keep it away from radiators and heaters. Water carefully, along the edge of the pot or from a saucer, so that water does not get on the tuber or leaves. The soil should remain slightly moist, without waterlogging.

A double-flowered cyclamen makes a suitable gift for a birthday or as a seasonal home decoration. The yellow shade adds light to the interior, while the fringed petals make the plant a striking accent in any houseplant collection.
