Gasteria is a compact succulent with thick, fleshy leaves gathered into a neat rosette. The leaf blades are elongated, pointed at the tips, with a slight texture and a silvery-green hue. A young plant looks miniature and tidy: the rosette grows slowly, maintaining its shape and not spreading outwards. The plant's height is 8 cm, and the pot diameter is 6 cm.

You can place the gasteria on a windowsill or a desk—wherever there is enough light. The plant tolerates partial shade but develops better in bright, indirect light, without direct rays at noon. Water rarely: let the soil dry out completely, then moisten moderately, avoiding waterlogging in the pot. In winter, reduce watering. Loose soil for succulents is suitable.

A compact gasteria is appropriate as a small gift for a housewarming or birthday for houseplant enthusiasts. It does not require frequent attention and is suitable for those who are often away.
