Fern d19 h70

probuket

A fern in a 19 cm pot, 70 cm tall, is a lush bush with long, arching, drooping feathery leaves. The fronds are gathered in a dense rosette and spread out to the sides, creating a voluminous green crown. Young shoots initially curl into tight spirals and gradually unfurl, giving the plant a lively, natural look.

It is best to place the fern in a spot with indirect light or in partial shade — direct sunlight leaves burns on the leaves. A windowsill facing north or east will do, as well as a corner of the room away from radiators. Water the plant regularly, keeping the soil slightly moist: drying out of the root ball quickly affects the leaves, they turn yellow and dry at the edges. The water should be soft, settled, and at room temperature. It is useful to occasionally spray the fronds and wipe dust off them.

Such a fern is suitable as a housewarming gift or for greening a work office — it looks good both in a living room and in an office.
