Small-leaved Pilea d9

probuket

Pilea microphylla in a 9 cm pot looks like a miniature green bush with many thin stems, densely covered with small rounded leaves. The leaf blades are firm, with a slight glossy sheen, arranged in neat tiers, making the plant resemble a living emerald sphere. The compact crown gives the pilea a decorative appeal and allows it to be placed even on a small windowsill.

It is appropriate to place the pot with the pilea in a bright spot without direct sunlight — a windowsill with diffused light or a shelf near a window will do. The soil should remain slightly moist: water moderately when the top layer dries out, avoiding waterlogging in the saucer. Wipe the leaves periodically with a soft cloth to remove dust and preserve their shine.

Such a plant is suitable as a gift for a colleague or a loved one on the occasion of a housewarming or birthday. Pilea microphylla will enliven a workplace in the office and add freshness to a home interior, without requiring complex care.
