The Red Horn jade plant conveys a sense of calm, understated exoticism: its thick, fleshy leaves are gathered into compact rosettes, and their edges seem touched with blush—the green blade shimmers red along the rim. Over time, the shoots become woody, and the plant takes on the appearance of a miniature tree with a distinctive silhouette. The Crassula ovata variety is prized for its low maintenance and expressive form.

A spot for the plant is a well-lit windowsill or a table by a window where soft light falls. It is best to shade it from direct midday sun during hot hours so that burns do not appear on the leaves. The jade plant thrives at ordinary room temperature and is not afraid of dry air, making it suitable for an apartment and a home office.

Water moderately: the soil in the pot should dry out between waterings, and excess water should be drained from the saucer. In winter, reduce watering. The plant stores moisture in its leaves, so a short drought is tolerated more easily than overwatering. A young tree is a suitable gift for a housewarming or birthday.
