Flowers for March 8th with delivery in Madrid

How to choose a bouquet for March 8th in Madrid

March 8th is a holiday that Madrid loves and looks forward to. To delight the recipient, think about size, shade, and number of flowers.

Bouquet size matters. A compact "Prelest" (Delight), "Bouquet of 5 pink hydrangeas," or 15 yellow tulips is a fitting gesture for a colleague. A medium-sized bouquet — for example, the "Prelest Composition" at 54 EUR or 25 peonies at 191 EUR — suits a mother, sister, or loved one. A large bouquet is a striking congratulation that will be remembered for a long time. If in doubt, choose a bouquet slightly larger than expected: on a holiday, it's nice to receive extra attention.

Color is the language of emotions. Red roses speak of passion, white of tenderness and purity, pink of gratitude and affection, yellow of friendship and joy. Spring shades — lavender, peach, sky blue — create the mood of March 8th. If the recipient loves bright colors, go for a contrasting arrangement. If she prefers calm, choose pastel.

Number of flowers. One flower is a minimalist gesture, three an elegant accent, five a classic for colleagues, seven for close ones, nine or more for the most important people. An odd number is traditional, but in Madrid even-numbered bouquets are also given if the composition calls for it. The most important thing is that the arrangement delights the recipient and brings a smile.

Delivery in Madrid: how Pro-Buket works

We serve addresses within Madrid. The order is assembled by a Pro-Buket florist in Madrid. The courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time.

No refunds are given for returns. We stay in touch to resolve any situation with the order.

Options for the holiday

Among them are mono-bouquets of roses, tulips, gerberas, and mixed arrangements.

If the recipient's preferences are unknown, universal combinations work: pastel tones or classic red roses. For colleagues, neat bouquets in a hat box or basket are appropriate. For mother, voluminous arrangements with greenery.

Remember: you can order a bouquet in advance so that the holiday isn't rushed. The bouquet will arrive anywhere in Madrid at your chosen time.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
