Standard olive tree

The olive's recognizable silvery-green leaves are narrow, slightly elongated, with a matte underside. The crown is formed on a straight standard trunk, which over time becomes covered with grey-brown bark. Such a small tree looks neat and structured, resembling a Mediterranean landscape in miniature.

The brightest spot is chosen for the olive: a windowsill with a southern or south-western orientation, where there is enough direct sunlight. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out, as stagnant moisture harms the roots. In winter, keep it cooler and water less often.

The standard olive tree is suitable for those who appreciate calm geometry in the interior, and will make an appropriate gift for a housewarming or birthday.
