A bonsai myrtle brings an atmosphere of calm and refinement to the interior, like a little corner of a southern garden on your windowsill. Its miniature trunk gains expressive texture over the years, while the dense crown of small glossy leaves looks neat and lively. During the flowering period, the plant becomes covered with tiny white flowers with a delicate fragrance, and later dark berries may appear. The shape of the bonsai's crown is already formed, so it immediately looks like a finished composition.

It is best to place the myrtle in a bright spot without direct scorching rays — a windowsill of an east- or west-facing window will do. In summer, the plant can be taken out onto a balcony or terrace, protecting it from drafts. Water moderately when the top layer of soil dries out; in winter, water less often, but without letting the root ball dry out completely. It is useful to periodically mist the leaves to maintain air humidity.

Such a bonsai is appropriate as a gift for a housewarming or birthday for someone passionate about plants. It suits a home or office where you need to add greenery and a sense of tidiness.
