Yucca glauca is a striking plant with a dense, woody trunk topped by a rosette of stiff, sword-shaped leaves. The leaf blades are gathered in a cluster, coloured in a blue-grey or grey-green tone and covered with a light waxy bloom that protects against moisture evaporation. Over time, the trunk thickens and may branch, forming several growth points. A mature specimen resembles a miniature tree and becomes an expressive accent in the interior.

It is best to place the yucca near a south- or south-west-facing window: the plant is light-loving and tolerates direct rays well. In shade, the leaves lose their density and become pale. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out — stagnant moisture at the roots is harmful. In winter, with cool conditions, reduce watering. It is suitable as a gift for a housewarming or to celebrate the opening of a new office.
