Fruit Baskets with Delivery in Thailand

A fruit basket is a gift that won't wilt and doesn't need a vase. We assemble these baskets and deliver them to the recipient in Thailand: our florists work in the same city as the addressee, so the basket arrives fresh and right on time.

How We Deliver Fruit Baskets in Thailand

The order is assembled and delivered by a florist in the same city where the recipient lives. Before dispatch, we photograph the finished basket and show the picture to the sender: you see exactly what the recipient will get.

The courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time. You can also request anonymous delivery: the recipient won't know who the gift is from if you want to keep it a surprise. Every basket comes with a free card — write your message, and we'll include it with the order.

If the recipient isn't home, the courier waits on site for 15 minutes. Then we call the sender and, with their consent, leave the basket at the reception desk or in a nearby shop. So if you're not sure the addressee will be home, it's better to let them know about the gift in advance or choose a time when they're definitely there.

What to Do with the Fruit After Delivery

To keep everything tasty as long as possible, take the basket apart on the very first day: that way you'll see what has ripened faster and remove what's ready to eat. Fruits with thick skin and firm flesh usually keep longer than soft and juicy ones, so you can save them for later and eat the delicate ones first.

Don't wash the fruit in advance — water starts the spoilage process. It's better to rinse them right before eating. If a fruit is cut, store it in a closed container in the fridge and try to eat it within the day. Ripe fruits are best not kept in the same bag as those still ripening: the former release substances that speed up the ripening of their neighbors, and the basket will "burn out" faster than you expected.

How to Keep Different Fruits Fresh

Each fruit has its own habits. Some need coolness, others room temperature, and if you put everything in one place, part of the basket will spoil prematurely.

  • Tropical fruits — mango, papaya, passion fruit, lychee — do best at room temperature. Only put them in the fridge after they're fully ripe, otherwise the flesh becomes watery and loses flavor.
  • Citrus fruits — oranges, tangerines, limes — keep well in a cool place for a week or more.
  • Berries and soft fruits — strawberries, grapes, figs — like cold and dryness. Sort them, remove any damaged berries, and keep them in a container with a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
  • Apples and pears — versatile, but they speed up the ripening of their neighbors the most. Keep them separate from other fruits if you want the basket to last longer.
  • Bananas — can't stand the cold: in the fridge the peel turns black, though the flesh remains edible. Store them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

Home Care: General Tips to Make Flowers Last Longer in a Vase

If you add a bouquet to your fruit basket, it also needs care — and it's simple. Trim the stems with a sharp knife at an angle: that way water rises up the stem faster and the cut doesn't get clogged. Do this under running water or put the flowers in a vase immediately so air doesn't get into the capillaries.

Change the water every day or at least every other day. Stagnant water is the main reason a bouquet wilts early. While you're at it, rinse the vase and trim the stems again by a couple of centimeters. Remove any leaves that end up under water: they rot quickly and spoil the water.

Place the vase in a cool spot, away from direct sun, radiators, and drafts. Don't keep flowers next to fruit — ripe fruits release substances that make buds open and wilt faster. At night, you can move the vase to a cooler room: flowers rest and last longer.

If you've received a fruit basket in Thailand and want to prolong the pleasure, start simple: take it apart, remove excess packaging, sort the fruits by ripeness, and store them in suitable places. Then the gift will bring joy not just for a day but for a week or more. We'll take care of making sure the basket arrives on time and in the best shape: we'll assemble it in the recipient's city, photograph it before dispatch, and deliver it at the chosen time — day or night, with a card, and anonymously if needed.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
