Balloons don't need water, but they do appreciate care. Here are some general tips to keep the arrangement looking good longer.

Temperature and sun. Keep balloons away from direct sunlight and heat sources—radiators, heaters, open flames. Heat makes latex lose its shape faster, and foil can deform. Comfortable room temperature is best.

Surfaces. Don't place balloons on sharp objects, branches, or table edges. Latex can be damaged even by a fingernail. If it's a balloon fountain or cluster, place it on a flat surface or secure it to a stand.

Humidity. Too dry air dries out latex, too humid can affect foil. Normal home humidity is fine. Don't leave balloons in the bathroom or on a balcony in the rain.

Moving. If you need to move the arrangement, hold it by the base or ribbon, not by the balloon itself. This reduces the risk of popping or detachment.

Children and pets. Cats and dogs may play with balloons and accidentally puncture them. It's better to place the arrangement higher up or in a separate room without pets.

Helium. If balloons are helium-filled, they will gradually deflate. This is normal. Don't try to refill them with regular air yourself—the arrangement will lose its look. If balloons are on sticks, just make sure they don't fall.

Foil balloons. They can be gently wiped with a dry cloth. Don't use alcohol or abrasives. Latex balloons should not be washed.
