Anthuriums with Delivery in Istanbul

The anthurium is a flower with character. A dense, glossy sail-like leaf, around which a spathe unfurls, and inside — a spadix. It doesn't look delicate in the usual sense, but it lasts noticeably longer in a vase than many classic bouquets and hardly loses its shape. That's why anthuriums work well as a standalone bouquet: a few stems — and the arrangement already looks composed and complete.

We are Pro-Buket. When you order anthuriums with delivery in Istanbul, you get a bouquet that will be assembled right here and brought to the recipient in Istanbul at the chosen time.

What we do for you in Istanbul

In Istanbul, we assemble bouquets of anthuriums and deliver them to the recipient's address at the chosen time.

If you want to stay anonymous — that's possible too: the recipient won't know who the bouquet is from unless you want to sign it. Every bouquet comes with a free card with your short message.

You see the whole arrangement: how the anthuriums are placed, how the greenery looks, whether everything is as you imagined.

If the recipient isn't home

Sometimes the courier arrives, but the person who opens the door isn't the recipient. We don't leave the bouquet at the door and don't leave until we try to contact you. Then we decide together.

With your permission, the courier can hand the bouquet to the reception desk or leave it at a nearby shop. If it's impossible to hand over the bouquet, it will be brought back, and the re-delivery will need to be paid again; the money for the order is not refunded. So if there's even a small chance the recipient won't be home, it's better to let us know in advance — we'll adjust.

How to keep anthuriums in a vase

The anthurium isn't a flower that gives up after two days. But it does ask for attention. A few simple things will prolong its life in a vase.

Trim the stems. The first thing to do is refresh the cut. Cut off about a centimeter at an angle, preferably under running water or immediately placing the stem in water. Then the cut won't clog with an air pocket, and water will rise freely up the stem. The scissors should be clean and sharp: a crushed cut damages the stem.

Water. Anthuriums drink little, but they like clean water. Change the water every two days, and if it becomes cloudy — immediately. Pour enough so that the stems are submerged a few centimeters, no more: deep immersion speeds up rotting. For anthuriums, use room-temperature water, not cold.

Vase. Take a clean vase, preferably not too wide: anthuriums stand more steadily when the stems support each other. Before pouring water, rinse the vase — remnants of old water and film on the walls shorten the bouquet's life.

Location. Anthuriums need light, but not direct sun; keep them away from drafts and heating appliances. Place the vase in a bright spot not by the window and away from the air conditioner. Don't keep fruit near the vase: they release a substance that speeds up flower wilting.

Leaves and spathe. Wipe the large leaves with a damp soft cloth — dust settles on them, and the flower breathes worse. If dark spots appear on the spathe, it's usually from touching: the anthurium doesn't like being touched on the glossy part. Try to hold it by the stem.

Feeding. To make the bouquet last longer, add a cut-flower product to the water — according to the instructions on the package. Folk remedies like sugar or aspirin don't always work and sometimes harm: sugar, for example, feeds bacteria in the water. If you don't have a product, just change the water more often.

What to do if the spadix darkens. The spadix — the central part of the flower — darkens and dries out over time. This is a natural process, not a sign that the bouquet is dead. The spathe itself can remain dense and bright for a long time. If the spadix bothers you, you can carefully cut it off, but usually it looks organic and doesn't spoil the arrangement.

Coolness at night. If possible, take the bouquet to a cooler place at night — not to a balcony in winter, but just to a room where the temperature is a couple of degrees lower. This slows down opening and prolongs freshness.

Why anthuriums

Anthuriums look modern and don't need companions in the vase. One stem is already an accent, three to five — a full bouquet that doesn't need anything else. Such flowers are appropriate as a birthday gift, without an occasion, and for the office.

You get a photo before sending, a card — free, delivery — at the chosen time, if needed — at night and anonymously.

To give anthuriums in Istanbul, choose a bouquet on the website, specify the address and time — we'll do the rest. And don't forget about care: trim the stems, change the water, keep away from sun and drafts. Then the bouquet will last in the vase longer than you expected.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
