Proteas with delivery in Istanbul: your bouquet is arranged and delivered at the exact time

Proteas we deliver in Istanbul

The protea flower head is so textured that it's impossible to mistake it for any other bloom. A large flower head, dense petals, a shape as if designed by a sculptor.

It's simple: you pick a suitable bouquet in the catalog, enter the recipient's Istanbul address and time — then the florists get to work. Pro-Buket florists arrange the protea composition in Istanbul and hand it to the recipient there as well. This matters because proteas don't tolerate long journeys or unnecessary moves.

How we deliver proteas in Istanbul

We deliver bouquets only within Istanbul. If the recipient is in Istanbul, we can bring them joy. If not — unfortunately, this order isn't for us.

The service includes:

  • Delivery at the exact time. The courier brings the bouquet to the recipient's address at the chosen time.
  • Anonymous delivery. If you want to keep the intrigue, we don't reveal the sender. The recipient will only see the bouquet and the card — who sent it remains a mystery.
  • Complimentary card. We'll enclose a card with your words — no extra charge. The card comes with the bouquet for free.
  • Photo of the bouquet before dispatch. You approve the composition before it leaves for the recipient.

When the recipient doesn't open the door, the courier waits for 15 minutes. After that, we call the sender to agree on the next steps. If the sender agrees, the courier can hand the bouquet to the reception desk or leave it at a nearby shop. When there's no suitable place for the flowers, the courier brings them back, and a repeat delivery must be paid for again; the order cost is not refunded. We look for a convenient solution for everyone, but the final say belongs to the sender.

Caring for proteas at home: simple rules

Proteas are hardy flowers, but they open more slowly and last longer in a vase if a few conditions are met. Here's what we advise telling recipients — and what we ourselves verify in practice.

Trim the stem. Before placing the protea in water, cut the end of the stem at a sharp angle. It's best to do this under running water or to put the stem into the vase immediately — this way less air gets into the conducting vessels. A pruner or sharp knife works better than scissors: they don't crush the stem.

Change the water. Proteas don't like stagnant water. Change the water every two days, and if it becomes cloudy — don't delay. Each time, rinse the vase and trim the stem again by a couple of centimeters. This extends the bouquet's life noticeably longer than any additives.

Don't overfill. There should be little water — about a third of the stem's height. In nature, proteas grow in arid places, and "swimming" in water is uncomfortable for them. Too much water leads to stem rot faster.

Keep it cool. Scorching sun, radiators, and drafts are not the best neighbors for a bouquet. Choose a spot for the vase without drafts, scorching sun, and heat from radiators. At night, it's better to move the vase to a cooler place — this way the bouquet will last longer.

Don't keep the vase near fruit. Ripe fruit emits ethylene, which makes flowers wilt faster. This applies not only to proteas but to most bouquets. A kitchen table next to a bowl of apples is not the best idea.

Remove wilted parts. If some petals or leaves start to deteriorate, carefully remove them. This way the bouquet keeps its fresh look longer, and the water stays cleaner.

Don't touch the flower head unnecessarily. Proteas are beautiful for their texture, but extra touches aren't needed. Let the bouquet stand and delight the eye — that's enough.

If you follow these tips, proteas will last a long time in the vase and look as if just arranged. We do our best so that the recipient in Istanbul receives a bouquet with proteas fresh and right on time.

Why people choose Pro-Buket for delivery in Istanbul

Our flower shop delivers orders within the city. The bouquet is arranged and handed to the courier in Istanbul, and the recipient receives it in the city.

All of this is part of one order, with no hidden fees or extra conditions.

Proteas have a vivid character. They don't look like a standard bouquet, and that's their main advantage. Choose a bouquet with proteas from the catalog, specify the Istanbul address and time — we'll do the rest.

You can place an order on the website: choose the bouquet you like, enter the recipient's details and a convenient time. We'll contact you if any questions arise and will definitely show you a photo of the finished bouquet before dispatch.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
