Lilac Delivery in Istanbul: A Fresh Bouquet Right on Time

Why Lilac in Istanbul Is a Special Gift

Lilac is instantly recognizable — you won't mistake it for any other flower. Its dense clusters, light fragrance, and delicate shades create a spring mood all year round. In Istanbul, lilac is loved because it suits any occasion: a romantic bouquet, a token of appreciation for a colleague, or a warm hello from loved ones. If you want to give lilac in Istanbul, we'll arrange delivery with care and no hassle.

Every arrangement is put together right here, close to the recipient. That means the lilac reaches the recipient fresh, not after a long journey.

Lilac Delivery in Istanbul

We value predictability and attention to detail. The bouquet is brought to the recipient's address at the chosen time. Not "around noon," but exactly when you need it — we synchronize the florist's and courier's work so the moment of delivery matches your plan.

Before the courier takes the order, we show you a photo of the finished arrangement — you'll have time to appreciate the result. This is especially valuable if you're ordering a gift from far away.

What happens when the recipient isn't there? If the recipient doesn't open the door, the courier waits fifteen minutes, then calls the sender to discuss next steps. With the customer's permission, the bouquet will be handed to the front desk or left at a nearby shop. A new delivery will require a new payment, and the funds already paid will remain with us. We try to approach each situation flexibly, but it's important to know these terms in advance.

How to Keep Lilac Fresh in a Vase

Lilac requires gentle handling, but with proper care it keeps its beauty for a long time. A few simple tips will help lilac stay fresh in the vase longer.

First, remove the wrapping right away. Let the flowers "breathe." Remove the leaves from the stems that will stand in water — they spoil quickly and dirty the water.

Next, trim the stems. Take a sharp knife and cut at an angle — that way the stem gets more moisture. Pruning shears or scissors can crush the vessels, so use a knife. Hold the knife at an angle and cut the stem at about 45 degrees.

Pour cool, clean water into the vase. Lilac likes soft water, but if yours is hard, you can let it stand. Refresh the water and rinse the vase every two days so the walls don't get coated.

Add sugar to the water: about a teaspoon per liter. Lilac responds to sweet feeding. Add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar to the water — this will slow down bacteria growth. But don't overdo it: moderation in all things.

Choose a spot for the vase away from sunlight, drafts, and radiators. Lilac is sensitive to high temperatures and sudden changes. If fruit, especially apples or bananas, is nearby, better move it away: they release ethylene, which speeds up wilting.

Periodically spray the clusters with cool water from a spray bottle — this will keep the petals' moisture and freshness longer. Just do it gently so as not to damage the delicate blooms.

If you're leaving for a couple of days, you can place the vase in a basin with cool water and ice — the flowers will cope with your absence more easily. But don't leave them in ice water for too long: lilac doesn't like overcooling.

As soon as the water becomes cloudy, replace it with fresh. Wilted flowers should be removed: they spoil the look and can become a source of bacteria.

Thanks to these simple rules, lilac will delight you with its fragrance and appearance much longer. If the lilac is meant as a gift, we can include a short care instruction with the bouquet — just let us know.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
