Gerberas with Delivery in Istanbul: A Fresh Bouquet at the Exact Time

Gerberas are flowers that need no explanation. They smile on their own: a large center, even petals, a sturdy stem that holds its shape. The courier brings a bouquet with gerberas in Istanbul to the recipient at the chosen time, and you will see a photo of the arrangement before it is sent.

How the Work Is Organized in Istanbul

The assembly and delivery of gerberas are carried out by a florist in Istanbul. Both the assembly and the delivery of gerberas take place in Istanbul. The path of the flowers lies from the florist to the recipient.

What you get:

  • Photo of the bouquet before sending. First we look at the bouquet ourselves, then we show it to you.
  • Delivery at the chosen time. You name the time — we bring it then.
  • Anonymous delivery. You can ask that the recipient not know exactly from whom the gerberas came.

If no one is at the address, the courier will wait there for fifteen minutes. After that, the courier calls the sender's number. With the sender's consent, the bouquet will be handed to the reception desk or left at a nearby store. Therefore, it is better to specify the time when the recipient will definitely be there right away.

Why Choose Gerberas

Gerberas look friendly. The large flower head of the inflorescence lasts a long time, and the stem does not bend under its own weight.

Choose by color: white, yellow, pink, orange, red. Or rely on the florist — they will assemble the gerberas in Istanbul and send a photo before sending.

Gerberas love light but tolerate heat poorly. This is important to remember when the bouquet reaches home.

Home Care: How to Make Gerberas Last Longer in a Vase

Gerberas can last a long time in a vase — if you do a few simple things right away. Here are tips we address to recipients.

**1. When the gerberas are home, take a sharp knife or pruners and cut the stems by 2–3 centimeters at a 45-degree angle. Scissors will not do here: they crush the stem, and moisture moves through it worse. Cut the stem under water or immediately place it in water so that air does not get inside.

2. Pour in clean water. Gerberas drink a lot. The water for gerberas should be at room temperature, not cold. Pour enough so that the stems are submerged by a third, no more: if the water reaches the inflorescence, it will start to rot.

**3. Change the water every day. Yes, every day. Gerberas release substances into the water that shorten their own life. Every day, pour out the old water, rinse the vase, trim the stems again by half a centimeter, and pour in fresh water. If you cannot do this — at least once every two days.

**4. Remove leaves under water. Leaves that end up in the water must be removed: they rot and spoil the water. Leave the leaves above the water level — they work for the bouquet.

**5. Find a cool place. Gerberas are harmed by direct sunlight, radiators, heaters, and drafts. A bright place away from a south window and away from fruit is best: ripe fruits release gas that makes flowers wilt faster.

6. Do not place next to other bouquets. If other flowers are already in the vase, gerberas may last less. A separate vase is better.

**7. Feed them. If you have a cut-flower food, add it every time you change the water according to the instructions. If not — half a teaspoon of sugar and a drop of lemon juice per liter of water work as a homemade feed.

8. Watch the inflorescences. If the petals start to darken or the center becomes soft, it is better to remove the flower — it spoils the others. Thanks to this, the bouquet will last longer.

9. Do not spray the petals. Gerberas do not like water on the inflorescences: spots appear from it. You can only spray the air around, and even then in a hot room.

10. At night — into the cool. If possible, take the vase to a cooler place at night: a glazed balcony, a hallway, away from heating. Gerberas will appreciate it.

These tips work for any gerberas we deliver in Istanbul: both for mono-bouquets and for mixed arrangements.

Additional Details

First we photograph the bouquet, and then we send the photo to you. A bouquet with gerberas in Istanbul can arrive late in the evening or at night — you choose the time.

When no one is found at the specified place, the courier will stay there for a quarter of an hour, and then call the sender.

Questions and answers

Can I place an order in advance?
Yes, for any date and time. For February 14, March 8, Nauryz, and graduations, we recommend ordering a few days in advance: popular flowers sell out faster on these dates, and the nearest delivery intervals fill up in the morning.
How long will the bouquet last?
With simple care, a week or longer. Chrysanthemums last the longest, up to two to three weeks; roses — 7–10 days, tulips and hydrangeas — about a week, peonies — 4–6 days: they open quickly. How to extend the life of your bouquet — see the care guide.
How do you ensure freshness?
The flowers are stored in a cold room at +2…+4 °C, deliveries arrive in small batches several times a week, and the bouquet is assembled only after you place your order, so it arrives fresh.
Will the bouquet be the same as in the photo?
We keep the composition, color palette, and size. But fresh flowers vary slightly from batch to batch: the shade of a rose or how open the bud is may differ. That's why we send a photo of your exact bouquet before dispatch.
What if the bouquet is not to their liking?
We send a photo before dispatch to prevent this. If something goes wrong during delivery, we will reassemble the bouquet at our own expense. Terms are on the "Returns and Replacements" page.
Do I need to water the arrangement in the box?
Yes, every two days. The flowers are in a moist floral foam: carefully pour 100–150 ml of water into it without flooding the box. More details in the "Composition in a Box" section.
